Services I Can Provide
I prefer to let my work speak for itself rather than boasting about my capabilities. Having moved beyond the cutthroat competition of my younger years, my focus now is on delivering quality results without shortcuts. I've witnessed the negative impact of ego clashes on company morale and strive to avoid such pitfalls in my professional endeavors.
I am committed to promoting the work of others if it means the customer receives the best possible product or service. My ethics are straightforward: return the grocery cart so others can find it and strive to leave the world better than you found it. This simple approach has proven effective once you stop overthinking it.
Outside of my religious pursuits, I am a creative writer, illustrator, video editor, and hobby-level expert in PC hardware and software installation. The strong ethical standards I uphold in the religious world seamlessly transfer to my work in the tech industry. If you're looking for a dedicated and determined team member for your project, I'm your person. As a creative problem solver, I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and dive into the work. Additionally, I have a soft spot for energy drinks, which keep me fueled and focused during projects. Let's work hard and enjoy the process along the way!
DIY Guide:
Rebuilding a Home Workstation and Data Recovery
Step 1: Rebuilding Your Home Workstation
I'm currently rebuilding my home workstation, and am at the halfway point. The physical build is nearly complete, though it won't boot into the BIOS. Fortunately, it's not rebooting every few seconds, so that's a huge plus.
Steps to Follow:
- Check the Motherboard: The Motherboard
- Consult the Owner's Manual: Owner's Manual & Spec Sheets
- Troubleshooting No Display: Troubleshooting - No Display
Step 2: Data Recovery on a 20TB Drive
Now, having sorted that bit of info out, I have another project on the back burner for this build. Data recovery on a 20TB drive. The goal is to recover the data off a damaged hard drive and copy it to a brand new 20TB drive. My options on a fixed income are limited, but online resources are plentiful. Using an app / program called Clonezilla, I am going to attempt to salvage my entire archive of files and save them to a brand new drive. Ebay has been kind enough to point me to the items I needed, and I found them at what I believe is a fair price.
Steps to Follow:
- Prepare for Data Recovery: Identify the damaged hard drive and acquire a new 20TB drive. Purchase necessary items from budget-friendly sources like eBay.
- Using Clonezilla for Data Recovery: Download and install Clonezilla from the official website: Clonezilla.
- Execute Data Recovery: Follow Clonezilla's instructions to create a bootable USB drive. Connect both the damaged drive and the new 20TB drive to your workstation. Boot from the Clonezilla USB and follow the steps to clone the data from the damaged drive to the new one.
